I confirmed with Kats Heaters that the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnum Magnetic Heater part # KH1190 is safe to be left on a flat surface like the oil pan of your tractor overnight. There is a shut off at 250 degrees. Diesel fuel starts to gel at 32 degrees.
