Question:
How difficult would it be to replace an older Jensen AWM910 with a Jensen JWM60A. Are component size and mounting screw holes similar? Are the wiring jacks the same or will all need rewiring? My old AWM910 stopped working after a power surge and the tuning buttons no longer work. Hoping the JWM60A would fit up without too much modification.

The Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A would be an excellent replacement option for the Jensen RV Stereo part AWM910. The cutout size needed as well as the mounting hole locations are virtually identical between the two units so this part of the process will be super easy to do. However, the wiring will be a bit different but I have attached the diagram of each below that you can use which should then make the swap pretty easy as all you will be doing is just combing wires together. That said, there is no way around the wiring aspect as this will be required for any replacement.
The only other thing you will need to complete the above install is butt connectors for the wiring connections, part # DW05744-10 (2). I am very confident you will be able to complete this installation on your own.
