Question:
I have one propane regulator that is leaking oil. I understand that this is caused by the oil that is in the propane when distributed in when the tanks are filled. Also I believe that it ruins the diaphragm in the valve, is this correct? what should I do to my system before installing a new regulator.

If you have enough oil in your propane tanks to the point they are starting to leak out of the regulator your best options are to either have the tanks evacuated and cleaned or replace them altogether before replacing the regulator like with the part # 108072 that you referenced.
