Question:
I had a Curt trailer hitch installed on my Audi Q5 2016 and bought the wiring harness that goes with the car. After it was installed my backup camera and parking assist sensors didnt work. When I called my saleman at the dealership he said some pretty scary words......I hope you didnt void the warranty. He was the one that said it was a pretty easy install. What sage advice can your experts impart?

The issue is most likely related to the wiring of the trailer wiring kit you installed on your 2016 Audi Q5. Most likely whoever did the install might have messed with the wrong wires as the harness for the taillights is probably right near the camera and sensors. If you had someone install it for you I'd have them address what they did to it. You can use the attached install video as a guide as it shows the Tekonsha kit part # 119250KIT installed on a 2016 Audi Q5 just like yours as well.
