Can Mirrors be Upgraded on 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 to Include Turn Signal
Question:
I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Lt Texas edition crew crab. I’m trying to upgrade the side mirrors to my truck with turn signal mirrors. Do I need any kind of a hardness to do so or do I just run wire from the mirrors to my fuse box. My current mirrors are basic the only thing I can do is move them electronically With the switch that’s on my door panel.

You can potentially use the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors with the Electric/Heat w LED Signal functions # KS62135-36G with your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 but if your pickup currently doesn't have the heat or LED turn signals then you won't likely have those functions. It could be that wiring was already ran but I doubt it. If you're really wanting to use those features and you don't mind splicing and running wiring on your pickup then you are more than welcome to try it out. I'd reach out to a local Chevy dealer first though to see if there is anything that you can do or avoid to make the installation easier as we don't have any info on what it takes to add functions to mirror connectors.
