Does Yakima KeelOver Rooftop Canoe Carrier Work on Factory Roof Rack of 2017 Honda Odyssey

I checked with Yakima and the KeelOver Rooftop Canoe Carrier # Y04069 will fit the factory roof rack of your 2017 Honda Odyssey. A roof rack means you would have crossbars that go across the vehicle, like in the accompanying photo.

I wasn't sure from your wording if you actually have a roof rack with crossbars on your '17 Odyssey or just the raised rails on the side.

The KeelOver will require your '17 Odyssey to have some kind of roof rack system and if you don't have the factory rack, and instead have only the raised side rails I strongly recommend a Yakima rack, which consists of:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426
- TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR

This roof rack is a great option because it mounts on your Odyssey on top of the Towers in a manner that will allow you to utilize the full 60 inches of bar space these crossbars give you, which is going to be important for hauling a canoe.
