I bought a used Westin bull bar without mounting brackets it came off another 08 Chevy just like mine where can I find the item number on the bull bar to verify it’s right and which kit is needed?

There is no one specific place on bull bar where you will always find the part number so it is best to give the bar a good cleaning and then check all surfaces.
Another way to go is to compare your bar to those Westin bull bars we currently offer for the 2008 Silverados.
