Recommended Boat Cover For 16 Foot Lund Rebel SS Boat and 40 HP Outboard Motor

Question:

Have a 16 ft Lund Rebel SS with a 40 hp outboard - do you have a cover that fits the boat and motor - can it be used outdoors in winter or should another top be set up above it

You will need to determine the beam width of your 16 foot Lund Rebel SS Boat, for the proper fit of a cover.

A boat cover I would recommend that is good for outdoor storage is the Classic Accessories Boat Cover by StormPro, part # 052963889284. This cover fits 14 foot to 16 foot long boats that have a beam width of up to 90 inches. The StormPro covers will repel water, but are not waterproof. You will want to measure your beam width to determine if this cover will work. If your beam width is over 90 inches, you may need the # 052963889383 cover. These covers can be used in winter weather and you will not need another cover on top of the StormPro Covers.

A step up from the StormPro cover is the DryGuard cover which is a water-proof cover. Checkout the Classic Accessories DryGuard Waterproof Boat Cover, part # CA20084, which will fit 14 to 16 foot long boats with a beam width of up to 90 inches. Again, you will want to measure the beam width of your boat.

The cover you selected, Classic Accessories Hurricane Canvas Boat Cover, part # 052963840384, would be better for an inside storage facility.
