Locating VIN on Jayco RV/Trailer

Question:

where can I find the vin number for a Jayco made RV? The number appears to have been removed.

The VIN for Jayco trailers is typically found on the lower portion of the driver's side frame. Inspect the frame along the trailer on this side for a 17 digit number. If you cannot find anything there then you will just want to inspect the rest of the frame and up towards the coupler for an information tag/plate or a number that is stamped right into the frame itself.

If you aren't able to find a VIN anywhere on the trailer, then you may be able to have your local state police or highway patrol assign a new VIN for you.

For any trailer, whether conventional, 5th wheel, or gooseneck, the VIN should be located towards the front of the frame on the driver's side. If you aren't able to locate it there then you'll simply need to search along the frame, typically at the front end of the trailer, for any stickers or markings that have the VIN. Also check any compartments or possibly around the frame of your entry door. I don't have an exact location for the VIN on your specific RV but hopefully this helps!
