Question:
I have recently purchased and received a curt tow hitch 2” ball for a Lexus CT200h and have fitted without any problem. My problem is now I can’t fit the cycle rack onto it, the rack is a Atera Strada DL and it won’t go over the ball and so I can’t lock the handle? So I purchased a 1 7/8” ball thinking that it was to big 2” one, the smaller one has arrived and it locates onto the hitch and the locking arm goes down and locks but the racks loose and swings. Do you have any ideas? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Based on some quick research it appears your Atera Stada DL is a fit for a 50mm hitch ball more common in Europe. We do have the Brophy 50mm Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 8K # EH53C-C. The 50mm hitch ball is 1.9685 inches so it is between the 2 inch ball and the 1-7/8 inch size so that is most likely your fit issue.
