Can Trailer Mounted Bike Rack # CC-275 Be Cut Shorter?

Question:
Is it possible to cut the bent supports to make the top of the support beam lower perhaps 6. Thanks!

The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs # CC-275 can be customized to have shorter supports if desired, but that would void your warranty. There is enough space that you can cut them down 6 inches if that is your desire.
I do recommend looking at all of the possible issue from cutting them down prior to doing so. I've attached a video review of the product to assist.
