Question:
Regarding the anderson ultimate fifth wheel hitch. I have a 2015 ram 2500 6 foot bed. Do i understand correctly that the anderson hitch will only connect to a goose neck ball?

The Andersen Ultimate that we carry, part # AM3200, connects to industry standard fifth wheel rails. There is an Andersen that requires a gooseneck hitch to use but we no longer carry it. The # AM3200 has its own ball and adapter to make the connection to your fifth wheel trailer's king pin.
If your 2015 Ram 2500 already has industry standard rails installed then the Andersen will work for you. If you need rails I recommend the Reese kit, part # RP50054-58. It's a custom kit for your truck that reduces the amout of drilling and install time. I've linked an install video in a similar truck for you to take a look at.
