How to Install Replacement Latches TX1117755 on a TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover
Updated 05/10/2018 | Published 05/09/2018 >
Question:
Will the latches come with installation instructions? Do you have a video on the installation instructions? I purchased a truck that has a Tonneau cover already on the bed. I just ordered replacement latches and new velcro for it and Im hoping the latches will be easy to install because I have no clue.

To install replacement latches # TX1117755 you will need to remove the tailgate header rail from the side rails. Then you would remove the one fastener per latch holding the old ones on. Next slide off the old latches, slide the new ones into place, and reattach them to the side rails with the fasteners. Then you would put the rear header rail back on. It is actually quite easy and I am sure you can do it with no problems!
The latches should not have to be adjusted because according to TruXedo they are already set to the correct tension.
