That looks ideal. But it says not locking. What do I get to lock the kayaks for when I will be away from the car?

In order to carry two kayaks on the roof of your 2008 Lexus RX 350 with the factory roof rack, I recommend using two of the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier part # S512. This is an excellent system for you that will work well with the factory aero crossbars on your Lexus. The carrier has folding uprights that can be laid flat while not in use, rubber padding to protect the kayaks, and included tie downs to secure the kayaks to the carrier/vehicle. You could use a generic cable lock like part # e98891 to wrap around the kayaks but there would be no way to run the locks through the body of the kayak and properly secure them. There really isn't a sure fire way to lock a kayak to the roof.
