That means you have a blockage in your system. You'd want to inspect all of the lines for anything that would cause a blockage like a kinked line or any other possible damage to the system.

If you don't find anything wrong with the system try to join the controller with the manifold again:

Set the manifold into join mode.
• Ground the join wire in the electrical harness.
• Locate the YELLOW join wire with heat shrink on the end in the harness.
• Remove the yellow wire from the cap leaving the cap atached to the
harness.
• Attach the exposed terminal to a good frame ground.

Cycle power to the manifold.
• Manifold will boot in join mode and will click the exhaust solenoid 5 times fast,
then 1 per second.
• The manifold will stay in join mode for 30 seconds allowing time to set the
controller into join mode.

Set the controller into join mode.
• Press UP and DN buttons together to enter Settings Mode.
• Press the M1 button when the display flashes “JoIn”.
• Use the up and down buttons to select which manifold to join with.
• JOIn r = Join with the manifold controlling the rear axle springs.
• JOIn F = Join with the manifold controlling the front axle springs.
• Press the M1 button to join the controller to the selected manifold.
• The display will show DONE when the joining process is complete.
• The M2 button will exit back to the settings mode.
• Press M2 button again to exit out of Settings Mode.
• Disconnect yellow wire from ground.
• Reinsert the yellow wire terminal into the molded cap

The 14 error code indicates a bad/weak ground connection for the compressor. You can try moving the ground location or cleaning the existing area of any paint/debris/corrosion that might be preventing a solid attachment.

Thanks for the reply. My dealer talked to Airlift today and they said the same thing. Fixed now...by the way had lots oh leaking issues with the Airlift air line that came in the kit. Replaced it all with Firestone line which is noticeably thicker line and no leaks.

What does it mean when the remote says FAIL

The FAIL message indicates the remote isn't communicating with the compressor. The most common cause for this is a bad/weak ground. Make sure the ground wires are still firmly attached to a clean, metal surface. You can also unplug the harness and run a jumper wire - grey to black. This should reset the unit and connection and hopefully resolve the issue.
