Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Light Stays On
Question:
I just installed my new Tekonsha P3 in our 09 Saturn Vue with the ETBC7 kit. The light stays on on the controller. Ive double checked the wiring but Ill check it again. My ? is, the flat four plug I installed a few years ago has its own power module with a fused wire to the battery, could that be sending a feedback some how to the brake controller causing the light to stay on ? Thank You for any Ideas,

Expert Reply:
Brake controllers such as the P3 you referenced # 90195 will go into a sleep mode after about 15 minutes of it sensing no movement. If you peek through the window after 15 minutes then it should be in sleep mode.
What you are seeing is normal.
