The T-One wiring harness, part # 118356, is designed to fit newer Jeep Wranglers starting in 1991 but is not a confirmed fit on your 1988.
The wiring harness for your Jeep is a hardwire and I recommend using part # 18252. It includes a circuit tester to find the correct circuits on the Jeep, as well as quick splice connectors to make splicing in a lot easier.
I've linked a video of the harness being installed on a 1985 Monte Carlo SS (Because why not, right?) so you can see the process since it's basically the same on every vehicle. It's a universal install so it requires using the circuit tester to find which wires on the Jeep use the correct function and then splicing in the new 4-way connector.
