Question:
I bought some factory roof side rails that run front to back . Are their holes already in the roof if not how hard is it to install

Installing the factory roof rails that run front to back for a 2013 Ford Edge that currently has a naked roof will require drilling. Since it's a factory rack I can't really say how labor intensive the install is. I would check with a Ford dealership.
Once you get the side rails installed you'll need cross bars as well. A great economical option are the Malone AirFlow2 Aero Crossbars # MPG216. They're 58 inch crossbars with a 165 pound capacity and include locks.
