Im looking at Thule AeroBlade Traverse Aero Bar Roof Rack - 2013 Chevrolet Malibu And im wondering if its a universal clamp where i could use it on a mini cooper as well or another veh if i were to switch it to my wifes vehicle or i purchased a new vehicle?

Thule Rapid Traverse Roof-Rack Foot Pack # TH480R
Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit for Traverse Foot Packs # THKIT1684.

The load bars and towers can be used on another vehicle but you will need to use a fit kit designed for that vehicle. The clips are shaped for specific vehicle fit, so the 1684 kit is only a fit for your Malibu. You obviously can get the clips that are a fit for your wife's vehicle and then they would work (presuming there is a kit for your wife's vehicle).

Optional locks to secure your system are # TH450400 which I do recommend to deter theft.
