Upgrading Tie Size from 235/65/17 to 245/65/17 on a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I have a SUV santafe 2012 model and I want to change my tyre size from 235/65/17 to 245/65/17, Is it suitable or will there be some problem later! Thanks

The current 235/65/17 size tires on your 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe have a diameter of about 29.025 inches and a width of about 9.25 inches. Upgrading to a tire size of 245/65/17 will increase that diameter to about 29.532 and the width to about 9.65 inches. You should be good to go, you will just want to measure your current tire clearance to make sure that you have enough space.
