Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Plate and Wiring for a Warn VR8 Winch

Question:

Is there a Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Winch Mounting Plate that is a matche for a Warn VR8? Also, electrical to install in 15 F-250 that would place quick connects near rear bumper. I plan on mounting the winch to my utility trailer. Thanks in advance.

I checked with Warn and the mounting hole spacing for the VR8 winch is 10 inches side to side and 4-1/2 inches front to back with the overall length of the winch at 20.7 inches and 6.3 inches front to back. Based on that you can use Curt mount # C31010.

At most your winch can draw up to 457 amps and a 650 cold cranking amp minimum battery is recommended. Based on these figures I would go with wiring and quick disconnect kit # BDW20207 which was designed for up to 16.5K Superwinch winches.
