Recommended Tire Chains For 2017 Audi Q7 With 285/45R20 Tires

Question:

Our Q7 has Pirelli 285/45/R20s. After searching the manual and internet with no luck, I have our sales guy trying to find out from corporate if there are any restrictions/suggestions, but its been almost a week. So, the first question, can you use chains on this car and on these Pirelli tires? Second, what recommendations do you have for chains, as it appears this is a very unpopular size for chains.

I was unable to find the information on your Q7 regarding the use of tire chains but we do have chains that are designed to fit the size tires you said you have.

I recommend the Thule Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains, part # TH02230K77. These are Class S compatible chains that require no internal clearance and are the easiest chains to use that Thule makes. Just put the chains on top of the tire, attach to the the wheel nut or blt and drive away. The chains tighten and center ont he tire as the wheels turn.
