Will the Thule Pulse Medium Cargo Box Fit a 2016 Jeep Renegade with Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack

Question:

I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade. Will that box fit my car. I have factory rails and have also ordered the THARB53 Thule Areoblade load bars. How far back should I set the box? Where should the front of the box be in relationship to the windshield?

Since the roof racks for your 2016 Jeep Renegade can be adjusted to have the bars more forward or rearward along the side rails you will be able to position the box so that it is in the optimal position to eliminate or reduce any interference there might be with the rear hatch on the vehicle.

The position of the front of the box relative to the windshield is another matter. A pretty good rule to go by is if you are sitting in the drivers seat and can see the box from your normal sitting position (not leaning forward) then it is probably too far forward on the roof.

To determine if there will be any hatch interference there is a simple measurement you can take. Once you have the roof rack installed move the front bar as far forward as it can go. Then measure from the center of the front bar straight back to the nearest part of the open hatch. If that distance is greater than 42-5/8 inches there will not be hatch interference.
