Does Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch Interfere with Truck Bed Fuel Tank
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a 2016 f-250 super duty 6.5 foot bed. I just bought the 21k autoslide demco fifth wheel hitch. My question is, from the mounting pin how far does the bracket extend towards the cab of the truck? I ask because Im trying to fit an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed in front of this fifth wheel hitch and Im wondering if it will fit. Thank you for your time.

If you check out the picture I attached you sill see that the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550038 does not hardly extend past the front mounting tabs at all. The rails in your truck bed are going to stick out further than the hitch. Essentially the mounting tabs are as far forward as possible.
