Question:
I have received multiple opinions about towing an Element 4 wheels down. I have a 2010 4WD EX Element. Are you aware of any problems towing an element behind an RV? Since our Element is fairly new, I dont want to do anything that would damage the car. Thanks for your advice.

According to my research, the 2010 Honda Element is flat towable as is. You will still want to consult the vehicle owners manual for any additional specific information on towing the vehicle.
Roadmaster does offer a set of base plates for the 2010 Element, except for SC models. The base plate kit I would recommend is the Roadmaster XL Style Kit, part # 1541-3.
Roadmaster has a large offering of tow bars as well. I have added a link to the options compatible with XL style base plates.
You will also need safety cables and some sort of light system as required by law. Most states also have laws regarding supplemental braking systems. I have included a link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you.
