Will Yakima Skybox NX 16 fit Factory Crossbars of 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen

Question:

Is the Yakima Skybox mounting system compatible with OEM crossbars for the Volkswagen 2015 Golf Sportwagen? The VW Base carrier bar product number is 5G9071151A from the VW parts website. Thank you very much for your help.

The Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y95AV that you referenced is compatible with the factory crossbars that Volkswagen offers and what you would have on your 2015 Golf Sportwagen.

To verify this you can go out and measure the crossbars on your vehicle as well. As long as they are less than 3-1/2" wide and 1-11/16" tall and between 24 and 36 inches apart measured on center the box would be compatible.
