I have a 2006 Chevy silverado 2500 hd 4x4 diesel . Naked roof. My questions are: 1 Does this set come with plastic fairings and locks to cover the bare metal mount ? 2 What is the measurement from the top of the roof to the bottom of the bar? Im hoping to still keep my sunroof functional even with a roof top box or kayaks Thanks in advance.

The Rhino Rack roof rack for your 2006 Chevy Silverado that consists of part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK227 does not include a fairing, but you can get one separately that would work well. For that you would want the part # RRRF3.
The bottom of the cross bar will be around 5 inches from the top of your vehicle roof depending on the shape of your roof.
