How to Carry a Kayak on the Roof of a 2004 Ford Mustang
Question:
Hello, I am looking to transport a 35lb Kayak on top of my Ford Mustang. Any suggestions on what to use? Ive seen several types but Im not sure what I need. Thank you!

The best option to carry a kayak on your 2004 Ford Mustang is to use a foam block set up, # RL100K10. That way you will not have to install a roof rack. The only issue with this type of system is that the straps have to run through the interior of the vehicle. This can limit head room and sometimes the straps can act like a wick and let water into the vehicle. Otherwise it is an inexpensive option.
