Trunk Mount Bike Rack For 2013 BMW 328i Hardtop Convertible
Question:
Looking for the best bike rack for a BMW 2013 2 door hard top convertible. Need to hold 2 bikes max. Is it the Thule Gateway TH88VR or something else? If possible, would prefer to avoid a hitch or roof rack. Thank you so much for your help. Regards!

I spoke with my contact at Thule about your 2013 BMW 328i Hardtop Convertible. They told me that the Thule Gateway 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH9006XT is a good fit for your vehicle. This carrier features the Hold Fast cradles and the patented FitDial system that will make sure the carrier fits your 328i. I have attached a product review video for this bike rack you can check out.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kid's bikes or women's bikes I recommend an adapter bar like part # TH982XT. This attaches between the seat post and the handflebar stem and helps hold the bikes even on the carrier while providing more ground clearance.
