The 2012 Toyota Tundra Crew Max has a 5-1/2 foot truck bed. You will not want to use a slider fifth wheel hitch on this vehicle. This vehicle will require the use of a Sidewinder King Pin with a fixed fifth wheel hitch on this short bed truck to get the needed clearance between the truck cab, and the front of the fifth wheel.

The Sidewinder King Pin does not affect the levelness of your truck.

To choose the correct Sidewinder you will need to use a Sidewinder that is compatible with the pin box on your trailer. The pin box manufacturer name and model number should be listed on the pin box and is normally on a sticker that is attached to the pin box. If the pin box is covered by molded plastic, you may need to remove some of the plastic to see the manufacturer name and model number. Once you have the name and model you can use the chart on our Sidewinder page, see link, to select the correct Sidewinder for your trailer.

The Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, part # RP30035-309, you have referenced, will be the installation kit you need for your Tundra. This kit will include the universal mounting brackets and base rails with the mounting hardware. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Reese install kit.

I do not sell the SuperGlide hitch by PullRite, so I can not give you any information regarding that product. I do know that the Sidewinder pin box will not work with the SuperGlide hitch.
