Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at these BullRing flush fit, retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stake pockets. Now, these heavy-duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and provide tie-down points to secure your load. They're gonna work with your S-hook and J-hook connections. And these are custom fit tie-down anchors, so they are going to fit various years and versions of the Dodge Ram and Ram pickup trucks.

Now, while the factory anchor points are inside the bed where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails. Just simply pop the anchor ring up as you saw me do when you want to use it to secure the load and then you just hit it down flush when you don't. So, as you can see, it's very easy to pull this ring out and then you just give it a firm pull. And then that's going to secure it in place.

And that's gonna be ready for you to hook up your straps. And then when you're ready to, when you're done and you don't need these anymore, you just hit them down and then they will retract as simple as that. So, when you have these up, they're going to hold very firmly, very securely. And these are gonna be very convenient for you to use. Now, the flush fit is compatible with most tonneau covers.

And these anchors have a weight capacity of 1,000 pounds. They're constructed of stainless steel that will resist rust and corrosion. And this nylon lower body is going to reduce sound. And this polished stainless steel plate really does provide a really nice, classy look. Now, to install these, if you have a 2009 or newer Dodge Ram, you will have to trim your rail cap for proper installation.

For easier installation, I recommend picking up the BullRing rail cap router bit and the BullRing rear pocket saw bit. I'm including our item numbers to those tools on your screen. And you can just take those item numbers and pop them into the search field of our website here at etrailer.com, and it will take you to those items. And that's going to make trimming the plastic easier and just installing these, in general, easier for you. So, I would recommend taking a look at those tools to help you with that installation. So, after doing any necessary trimming, you're simply going to use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two screws on the anchor, so that the steel plate is going to drop down. And on this anchor, I went ahead and loosened these screws. So, I'm gonna go ahead and take these screws out. And I just wanted to show you what this is going to look like when the screws are out. This steel plate is going to drop down. You're not gonna have to worry about losing that steel plate. It will stay attached to the ring. And then you're just going to place the anchor into the stake pocket at an angle. And then once you have it in there, you're going to just pull the anchor ring up so that steel plate catches on the metal rail cap below. And then you will just simply tighten down the Phillips screws until they are hand-tight. And you wanna make sure that you don't overtighten these. And if the plastic rail cap starts bending or bowing, then you are gonna know at that point, it is too tight. Now, these do have a lifetime warranty. And with this, you will receive six tie-down anchors. But if six is too many for you and you don't need that many, we do also have these in a set of four.
