The mirror face on this custom mirror can be rotated out to give you an extended field of vision for towing. Simply rotate it back for regular use.

Today we're going to take a look at the K Source Custom Electric Driver Side Heated Flip Out Towing Mirror with the turn signal and the puddle lamp. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2009-2012 Dodge Ram and Ram 1500 truck with the heated power mirror, 2010-2012 Dodge Ram and Ram 2500 truck with the heated power mirror, and the 2010-2011 Dodge Ram and Ram 3500 truck with the heated power mirror. Now, on any custom fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. This is an extendable towing mirror. This will replace the factory side view mirror on your vehicle. When you do use this, there's no need for any of the snap on or strap on towing mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take them off. This mirror, itself, has a nice flip out function.
Makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, and park. Basically, all you do is just rotate the mirror face to the outside and that extends your line of sight by about 3 3/4 inches. When you're done towing, all you have to do is just push the mirror back into place when you're not towing. The mirror portion right here, the larger mirror, has a power mirror adjustment, which lets you change your mirror face position with the factory control inside your vehicle. Also has a heated mirror glass, which will quickly clear the fog, frost, and ice. Want to show you, it has the amber LED turn signal light with the clear lens, which is built into the outside corner.
Also has the puddle light. Right down here you can see this illuminates the area under the mirror. Then also has the smaller mirror, the smaller mirror right here is a built in spotter mirror. This will help reduce blind spots. This mirror does have a hinge design which will allow it to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or fitting into tight spots. Has a nice textured black plastic housing.
It is custom fit for your vehicle. This is a simple no drill installation. You can see right here it has the same footprint, same mounting points as your factory mirror. It uses the factory power connection for electric heat and the light functions. This part is for the driver's side mirror only. Want to give you some dimensions on the mirror face now.
On the large mirror, width is going to be right at 7 11/16 wide. The height of it is 7 1/8 inches tall. Now, the blind spot mirror at the widest point is going to be 3 1/4 inches. The overall length measurements on this mirror right now and it's rotated in in the regular position from here to the outer edge is 20 3/4 inches. When we rotate the mirror out into the towing position, form here to the outer edge is 24 1/2 inches. One last note on this mirror is the power remote capability, the heated glass, the LE turn signal, the puddle lamp of this mirror, will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
