Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Thank you so much for coming today and watching this video. Today we're looking at the replacement installation hardware kit for the Westin HDX Grille Guard with the punch-out plate. Now folks, this is a custom fit application. So all this hardware is custom fit for a few year, make and model of Dodge Ram pickups.
You can find that information by simply going to etrailer.com. Enter your year, make and model in the fit guide, top center of the page where it asks for vehicle information. Enter that information, make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now, this particular set's gonna fit the '06 through '08 Dodge Ram pickup 1500s and the '06 through '09 Dodge Ram pickup 25 and 3500 series. Now folks, this will replace the installation hardware for your Westin HDX Grille Guard with the punch-out plates.
Now there's two bottles for that. I'll go ahead and toss them up on the screen as well. One's a stainless steel finish and one's a black powder coat finish and hardened steel. So maybe you either bought a used grille guard and you're replacing it and you need the hardware and you have that exact number. This should fit.
If you don't know the number of the one you're trying to get hardware for, please, please contact Westin direct and get that information to make sure you're getting the right kit for your grille guard. And folks, you will get, again, all the hardware you see before me. You get all these nice big, huge heavy metal brackets. Everything's hardened steel. It's all got a nice black powder coat finish.
You're gonna get all of the nine hardware here and these two pieces of foam. So it's a black foam. It's got an adhesive on the back. I left that on there obviously. But it gives you a little bit of cushion. Follow the instructions that come with the kit and with your grille guard to make sure you're installing everything correctly. So just a closer view of one of these brackets at least, so you can kind of see that powder coat finish as the light reflects off of it and whatnot. But very nice finish. Keep in mind, it is going underneath the vehicle. So over time, I'm sure it will eventually have some kind of corrosion or something, but that black powder coat finish is gonna help prevent that very, very well. It's actually pretty thick from what I've seen on a bunch of these. It's actually kinda drooping down the sides, if you will. So they put it on extra thick, which I like. This part works amazing and it was exactly what I needed! Placement and fit was lined up properly and it is super strong and sturdy. I am super satisfied .
Haven't used it yet. Parts are all there, seems to be sturdy flat iron. Can't rate the instructions yet, seem general.
