Today on this 2007 Buick Rendezvous, we're going to show you Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver class III, with a 2-inch opening, part number 13469. All right. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Rendezvous. As you could see, it actually sits almost all the way underneath the bumper due to the vehicle's construction. even though it does sit pretty far back, it is a bit visible. Okay. Now, it does have a reinforced collar around the front edge of the receiver, makes it look nice. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Buick Rendezvous - Curt C55383- Video
All right, today on this 2007 Buick Rendezvous we're going to show you the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C55383. With this part number, this is what you get, obviously your wire harness and two T-connectors. Yellow wire T-connector goes to driver side. Green wire T-connector goes over to the passenger side. You've got a nice long length of wire that will reach from one side to the other and this is our four pull flat. When a four pull is not being used it comes with a cover for it as well, plus, some zip ties and screw for the ground. more

Today, on our 2006 Buick Rendezvous, we'll be installing the Hidden Hitch, part number 90158. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper, it's approximately 5-1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the hitch to the ground is approximately 12-3/4 inches. Today on our 2005 Buick Rendezvous, we're going to be installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver, part number 75430. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 6 1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 12 3/4 inches. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2005 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2005 Buick Rendezvous we're going to be installing the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118383. We'll begin here at the rear of the vehicle. We'll need to open up the rear hatch. Next we're going to need to remove a few interior panels to gain access to the taillight wiring. We'll begin over here on the passenger side. We'll need to remove this little cover here by simply lifting up on the tabs, gently pulling out and then set that one aside. We'll go ahead and repeat that same process over here on the driver side. Next we're going to need to remove this rear threshold piece. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets Installation - 2005 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2005 Buick Rendezvous we'll be installing the Blue Ox baseplate adapter brackets for Roadmaster tow bars, part number BX88151. To install the baseplate adapter brackets, we'll first need to remove the attachment brackets that are already on the tow bar. To remove them, we'll go ahead and take the bolt out of the bracket and then remove the bracket completely. Now to install the new baseplate bracket, we'll take the bolt go through the bracket, then through one of the plastic flat washers down through the tow bar installing a second flat washer between the tow bar and the bracket pushing our bolt all the way through the bracket and securing with the nylon lock nut underneath. Once we have the hardware in place, we'll go ahead and tighten it down. We'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the other side. Next we'll torque to specifications as indicated in the instructions. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2005 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2005 Buick Rendezvous we'll be installing the blue ox base plate kit with a removable arm. Part number bx1508. Now to begin our install we'll first need to remove the front fascia. To begin removing the front fascia we'll remove the 4 screws that secure the front grill. Once the screws are out of the way, we'll then open the hood and remove the 4 push-pin fasteners across the top of the grill. Next we'll need to remove the headlight assemblies. To remove the headlight assemblies, we'll first pull up on the plastic locking tab, that holds the headlight in position. Once we've unlocked that, we'll then remove the wingnut on the inner fender well. more

From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outmost edge of the bumper is approximately 5 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 12 inches. Lets go ahead and install our hitch. Well start here underneath the rear bumper fascia at the rear of the vehicle. There are a total of five push-in retaining clips that well need to remove first. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Alright, today on this 2004 Buick Rendezvous we're going to install part number 41405 from Hopkins. This is a wiring harness that plugs in to the factory towing port. First, we'll go ahead and locate the port. It's underneath the vehicle, on the driver side, above the suspension in the corner by the bumper. We'll go ahead and use a trim panel tool to remove it from the sheet metal underneath then we'll go ahead and remove the cap. There's a small tab we need to pull up then it comes right apart.Now we'll take our new wiring harness, we'll add some dielectric grease that comes with it to the terminal then we'll go ahead and snap it into place. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2004 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2004 Buick Rendezvous, we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Carrier, part number TH9029. Now with the 2-inch adapter already installed on our shank, we'll slide the shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. This will secure the bike rack to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack measures 11 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle here at the lower hitch switch measures 2-1/2 inches. We'll now go ahead and pull the hitch switch here at the bottom of the mast which will allow us to tilt the mast down. more

Today on our 2004 Buick Rendezvous, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro Folding and Tilting 4 Bike Rack with Anti-Sway Cradles fitting both 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches, part number TH934XTR. Now to begin, our 2-inch adapter has already been installed on our shank so we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack measures 10-1/2 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle here at the safety loop security point is 4-1/2 inches. We'll now pull the pin here at the bottom of the mast which will allow us to tilt the mast down out of the way. more

Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2004 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2004 Buick Rendezvous, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Carrier, part number TH9027. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch. Line up the hitch pin hole and allow the integrated locking hitch pin to fall into place here in the hitch pin hole. We can then move to the anti-rattle knob where we'll tighten it down, securing the bike rack to the vehicle. At this point, we'll give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 11 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack here at the anti-rattle knob to the back of the vehicle measures 1-1/2 inches. more

Now with the 2-inch adapter already installed on our bike rack shank, we'll slide the shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the back of the bike rack measures 13-3/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack here at the mast to the back of the vehicle measures 6-3/4 inches. We'll now pull the switch here at the bottom of the mast which will allow us to tilt the mast down and open our cargo door. more

Our ground clearance here at the back of the bike rack is 14-3/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle here at the wheel loop is 6 inches. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2003 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on this 2003 Buick Rendezvous were going to install part number 118383 from Tow Ready. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and open up the hatch and remove the two taillights and disconnect the electrical from them. With the lights removed well go ahead and loosen up the wire harness that goes into the body. Pull the grommet out and move it to the side for now. Next well go on the interior of the vehicle and well remove the floor coverings, the threshold and loosen up the panels on the side. Now we can go ahead and start installing the wire harness. more

Rain-X Fusion Wiper Blades Installation - 2003 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on this 2003 Buick Rendezvous were going to do a test fit of part number RX880008 from Rain-X. This is their Fusion windshield wiper blade. A couple things to know about this part, it is designed to be an all-weather windshield wiper blade. It has a durable casing on the frame to help prevent ice and snow buildup. Also, the rubber squeegee has UV inhibitors built in to help protect it from the sunlight. Well start off our test fit by removing the original windshield wiper blades. more

Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades Installation - 2003 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on our 2003 Buick Rendezvous, we're going to test fit a Rainx Weather Beater windshield wiper blade, part number RX30224. We'll start by removing the original blades. There's a small tab to push, and we'll slide it off the Jaon. Then we'll return our attention to the Rainx blades. In this particular vehicle, this has a Jaon, but it's a different size. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Buick Rendezvous- Video
Today on this 2004 Buick Rendezvous we will be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 36425. This installation will also apply for Hidden Hitch part number 90158. We are underneath the vehicle near the bumper, we are looking at the driver side frame rail. As you can see we have two large oblong holes at the end of the frame rail and we are going to be using both of those as attaching points for our trailer hitch. We will be placing carriage bolts and blocks up inside the frame and pulling it back down into position for both of those locations. That is going to be the same on the passenger side as well. If you notice further rearward we have this lip that is attaching the body to the bumper. We are going to be drilling four holes, two per side, to attach the trailer hitch to as well. What we want to do first is put the hardware into the frame, get the hitch up into position, and we will use the hitch as a template to drill those holes out. 00:47 more
