The box can then be placed as far forward in the truck bed which will butt it up against the forward-most ladder rack knobs. You could then have the bolt that the second set of knobs uses go through the sides of the box and thread on the knob from the inside of the box to hold the toolbox in place though this may require a longer bolt. |

The base of the rack could be left on if you wanted to unbolt them from the feet but realistically it would be easier to just remove the feet all together since they install with knobs that don't require tools. | Ill be using...
