Can Uprights of Rola Haul Your Might Ladder Rack 59779 Remove Easily From Rack Base

Question:

Ill be using this rack to haul kayaks. I dont kayak often and wont be kayaking during the colder months. Does this rack detach from the base? Id like the option to remove the racks but keep the base on my factory track system.

I attached a diagram of how the feet and mounting brackets of the Rola Ladder Rack part # 59799 assemble. The base of the rack could be left on if you wanted to unbolt them from the feet but realistically it would be easier to just remove the feet all together since they install with knobs that don't require tools.
