Will Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Fit 2016 Volkswagen GTI SE

Hi, I am wondering if this works for 2016 gti se. If not is there a wire harness that is confirmed to fit this vehicle? Thanks

Yes, the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 will work for your 2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI SE. If you check out the attached installation video you can see us install it on a 2017 GTI.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch then I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7309 because it is the only option available that has both a hidden crosstube (for better ground clearance and looks) as well as a 2" receiver which makes it compatible with a wider variety of accessories.
To complete your towing setup you need a ball mount. I recommend checking out the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45155 which is set as a 2-1/4" rise with a 2" hitch ball.
