Trailer Axle Solution for Military Trailer with Jeep Wrangler Bolt Pattern
Question:
Ok Inhabe a 1966 M416 military trailer. I want to replace the current axle and military wheels on it and match my Jeep rubicon with 35” tires. Can you give me an axle option and hubs to replace. Also interested in a possible Tim Deb system as well. Thanks

For a hub that has a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern to fit the spindles of the Timbren axle less kit part # ASR2KHDS03 which is great for applications like yours you would want the Trailer Hub part # 84550BX that you mentioned as well. This hub includes the bearings that the Timbren you referenced is designed to fit. This setup has a 4 inch lift and the hubs have the 5 on 5 inch Jeep bolt pattern.

I am curious about this setup. It states the largest wheel the hub can take is 15", but Wrangler wheels are usually 17". Can this hub still be used?
