The limiting factor of the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Carrier, # Y07070, is not the baskets capacity but the capacity of the roof rack, and, ultimately, the roof of your car. You will need to check the owners manual to determine the capacity of your roof. If the rack is after market, consult the manufacturer of the rack to find its capacity. The basket itself is rated for 140 pounds.
