Availability of TracRac Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack for 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew Cab Short Bed

Question:

I currently have a sliding trac rac system on my 2002 Chevy 2500HD extended cab with a 6 1/2foot bed that works quite well. I am looking for a new trac rac sliding rail G2 system for my new 2015 Chevy 2500HD crew cab with a 6 1/2 foot bed. Do you know why the sliding rail system is not available for 6 1/2foot beds, but appears to be available for the 8foot beds. I really need the sliding capability and I am trying to come up with a solution. Any ideas, suggestions, or idea when a system for the 2015 Chevy 6 1/2foot bed trucks will be available?

I spoke with my contact at TracRac and the stake pocket locations on the 2015 models have changed from previous years so they are in the process of designing a TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack system to fit the new model.

She did assure me that they are working on a sliding system for the 2015 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab with 6-1/2 bed but could not give a specific date as to when it will be available.
