Question:
My jack will raise and lower ok. My problem is that when you try to roll the trailer the shaft will not pivot . The wheel will roll and turn but the shaft wont turn as you are rolling the trailer. Any clue how i can fix this?

I spoke with my contact at Fulton about the issue you are having with your 1500 pound Magnum trailer jack.
His first thought was that the tongue weight could be too high and this could make it difficult to get the wheel to rotate or pivot. It is also possible that there may be some corrosion inside but this would usually mean that the jack would not crank up and down easily. Make sure the gears are well lubricated and you can also try spraying white lithium grease between the tubes.
If none of this fixes the issue a new jack is going to be the way to go. I have included a link to our jack main page to the right.
