The actual lifespan of the batteries in the Custer Rotating LED Amber Warning Light # HF20RL will depend on several factors, including the brand and type of batteries and the outside temperature where they are used and stored. In a mild weather environment where the batteries will not get cold you can expect 20-30 hours of operation with a new set of AA batteries.
The Custer Rotating LED Amber Warning Light # HF20RL uses super high-efficiency LEDs that draw very little current. Since the lights do the "rotating" for you (there is not actually a motor or any moving internal assembly) the four AA batteries used to power it will last up to 10 times longer than when used with comparable incandescent lights.
