If I were to add this kit to my truck approximately how much more oil would the truck need to compensate for oil going through the filter, tubing, and cooler.

My contact at Derale advised that the approximate additional oil capacity resulting from the installation of their oil cooler # D15551 will be in the vicinity of 7 - 8 fluid ounces. This can vary depending on the length of the oil lines since some vehicles/installations may use all of the supplied hose while others do not.
It is always best to check your dipstick to ensure you are operating your vehicle with the correct amount of engine oil.
