I have a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado with a 6 pole trailer plug in. How is this 4 pole going to work? Do you have an adapter that will plug in to my 6 pole plug that can accommodate this 4 pole plug on the hitch cover? Your picture shows this, but I didnt see it with the order. Is this something I have to order separate?

Trailer hitch cover # RP86530 comes with a 4-Way but not an adapter. You would need to order an adapter separately.
A 6-Way trailer connector is not too common on vehicles like your 2005 Chevy Silverado. Doublecheck to make sure it isn't actually a 7-Way such as # PK11893.
If you do have a 6-Way you can use adapter # PK12717.
If it is a 7-Way you can use adapter # PK12716.
