Troubleshooting Putco Optic 360 High Power LED Fog Lamp Bulbs # P250001W that Won't Fully Insert

Question:
2014 GMC Sierra crew cab. Having trouble getting new putco 250001 w Compression clips to compress and to clip into place. I can plug into harness but where compression clips go I can compress in but their not releasing in correct location..

To install the Putco Optic 360 High Power LED Fog Lamp Bulbs # P250001W it should be just a matter of simply pressing the bulb into the socket. If it's not letting you insert it all the way I would check to make sure there is nothing in the bulb or socket that is preventing the bulb from being fully inserted.
