Mounting a Supplemental Transmission Cooler on a 2003 GMC Yukon or 2004 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
Hello - In the 2003 Yukon XL video, how was the top of the Derale 13504 cooler mounted to the existing support structure? The video only show the bottom of the cooler being mounted to the crossbar. Thanks

The top of the cooler # D13504 is not attached to anything because for this application it didn't need to be. But if you perform a similar installation you would just use the button fasteners that are included. They are similar to wire ties and will go through the cooler and the condenser and/or radiator behind the cooler and fasten around the back. Take a look at the video linked to the right. Fast forward to about the 3 minute and 10 second mark where he talks about the fasteners. I have also linked the Yukon video for reference.
