Question:

Hi, I have a 2003 VW caravelle that I want a tow hitch for. And I would like an adaptor for the RV tow receiver for putting the bikes and tow dolly on so we can tow our 2003 chrysler TandC. Can you help? Cheers

We do have an RV-rated dual hitch receiver adapter you can use to tow bikes and your 2003 Chrysler Town and County. I recommend the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, part # RM-077-4. Please keep in mind that any type of hitch adapter will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on which it is installed by 50%.

You will want to choose a hitch mounted bike rack that is rated for use with RVs and trailers. The Swagman Platform-Style Bike Rack, # S64663, is great for bikes with alternative style frames or suspension that prevent the bike from being used on traditional hanging style bike racks.
