Question:

All of the custom fit Dakota mirrors say they will not fit on the 5X7inch Sport mirrors. The description for this item says it fits most 7-10inch tall mirrors mine are about 6, but wondering if anyone has tried them on a Dakota Sport anyway. I would really like the dual-view if I could make them work. Thanks!

The problem with the Dakota Sport mirrors is that they are smaller than most truck mirrors, they are more similar to a car's mirror and that is why the custom towing mirrors for Dakotas don't fit them.

The part # 11953 that you referenced is a universal mirror that could work for you as long as your mirror is between 7 and 10 inches in height.

Another option you have is the K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, part # KS3891. As long as you have a lip on the edge of your mirrors, these will work great for you. These mirrors are sold individually and will attach to either the driver or the passenger side mirrors. These mirrors measure 7-3/4inches tall by 5-1/8 inches wide.
