Hey Joseph, the Duracap Journey Truck Topper #DUC36RR weighs approximately 80–95 lbs, according to the manufacturer. It's constructed from lightweight, urethane-coated aluminum, so it's relatively easy for two people to remove when needed.
We don't currently offer aftermarket side windows specifically designed to fit the Duracap Journey. The Journey is manufactured with solid side panels and there isn't a way to add side windows. How were you planning on using the Duracap?

If the side panels are a single sheet of aluminum, one should be able to simply cut any opening (say about 8” high and 16” long) and insert the 2 piece slider window. I’d like to have ventilation for dogs riding in the back, I’ve been looking for a sturdy canopy around $2000 that has windows in the side panels but all I ‘ve found are over 3K. Any suggestions not soft tops?
