Hi, I am trying to buy a specific Draw-Tite 24982 Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1.25 inch receiver compatible with a 2019-2021 Mazda 3. Please can you let me know if you have this specific item, or if you have another brand Hitch that fits my car? Many thanks,

Hi Stephen,

The company that owned DrawTite went out of business in early 2025 so we no longer carry DrawTite hitches. If we do have any left they're stock that we haven't sold through yet. Instead, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C44DR that is also a Class I 1 1/4" trailer hitch. Some trimming of the fascia and widening the access holes may be required. It is rated for 200lbs of tongue weight and has a 2,000lb tow capacity. If you're wanting to use a bike rack or cargo carrier with this, I suggest using one that fits a 1 1/4" receiver without needing to use an adapter. Using an adapter reduces the hitch's capacity by 50%, leaving you with only 100lbs of tongue weight and 1,000lbs tow capacity. I've linked a video to us installing the hitch as well so you can see the process and decide if you feel comfortable installing it yourself or taking it to a shop.
